We’re excited to present Yovana Rosales as a Featured AI Leader.
Let’s get to know Yovana and how she is using AI.
1. How is AI impacting your work?
As an AI business owner and a woman of color, I aim to empower my community by sharing knowledge about how AI can be utilized to support entrepreneurial and corporate ventures. Burnout is a significant challenge that many of us Latinas face. By demystifying AI and demonstrating how it can be practically implemented to increase efficiency and productivity, I hope to provide women of color the tools to harness this technology, reduce burnout, and unlock their full potential. My goal is for all of us to feel empowered to leverage AI in our daily lives and businesses, so we can thrive both personally and professionally.
2. How do you use AI in your daily life?
As a Latina, I often face the pressure to juggle my business, self-care, and personal life. Does that mean burnout is constant? Not on my watch! I have equipped myself with the knowledge and tools to leverage AI for smarter workflows, personalized self-care routines, and a more balanced life. Think streamlined operations, automated tasks, and reclaimed time for what truly matters. I am excited to share this journey towards a future where AI empowers, not overwhelms.
3. What is your favorite AI tool right now?
For everyday use within the LLM world, I use Claude, Copilot, Gemini and Chat GPT. For creativity within my business, I use Canva. For productivity and efficiency within my business, I use Motion. To create summaries and notes for meetings when using Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Meets, I use otter.ai.
4. What advice do you have for someone who is just getting started with AI?
My business was born from fear—the fear of losing my livelihood to AI, as every media article seemed to echo the same ominous message: "AI will take over your job." Instead of letting fear consume me, I embraced it and transformed it into curiosity and education. Now, I create courses for women to learn AI from a place of understanding, empathy, curiosity, and empowerment. My mission is to replace the fear of AI and the overwhelming feeling of not knowing where to start with a supportive community that uplifts one another while learning.
5. Who should we follow in the AI space?

Erin Riddick
Andrea Chichizola

6. How can women in AI support each other?
Women in AI can support each other through inclusive strategic partnerships and inclusive collaborations. By fostering a collective learning environment, we can tap into the diverse expertise within our AI/tech community and create synergies that amplify our impact. When we come together, we amplify our ideas, resources, and opportunities in ways that are simply not possible when working in isolation.
Through partnerships, we can lean on each other's strengths, fill knowledge gaps, and achieve goals more efficiently. Collaboration allows us to challenge our assumptions, expand our perspectives, and arrive at innovative solutions we may never have considered independently.
As women in AI, we have a unique opportunity to redefine the culture of our field. By actively choosing to collaborate over compete, we create a rising tide that lifts all boats. When we invest in each other's growth and success, we accelerate our own progress in the process.
It's time to break free from the limiting belief that we have to go it alone. Our full potential lies in our shared brilliance, resilience, and support. Together, we can shatter glass ceilings, solve complex problems, and shape an AI industry that reflects our values and vision. Partnership is not just a nice-to-have; it's a critical strategy for our collective advancement.
