1. How is AI impacting your work?
AI is transforming the way we approach integration at Boomi. We use AI to automate complex data workflows, optimize processes, and provide intelligent recommendations for integration efficiency. I also use AI for pretty much other admin and documentation work, chatgpt, ai code assistant such as amazon Q, notion for note taking, every tool is now AI enabled and helps me be more productive at work.
2. How do you use AI in your daily life?
In my daily life, AI plays a significant role in both personal and professional spaces. I use AI-driven tools to enhance productivity—whether it’s for scheduling, managing projects, or streamlining workflows. As a community builder at Women in Data, I rely on AI for connecting with members, personalizing engagement, and using analytics to identify trends within the community. Personally, AI tools assist in everything from fitness tracking to content recommendations, seamlessly integrating intelligence into my routines.
3. What is your favorite AI tool right now?
I think I'd go with Claude as my favourite LLM that works really well for work. I am also impressed with tools such as Replit that allows you to build end to end apps in minutes.
4. What advice do you have for someone who is just getting started with AI?
Start with the fundamentals—understanding the basics of machine learning, data analysis, and the core concepts of AI. From there, focus on practical applications by working on real-world projects that allow you to apply your knowledge. Don’t be afraid to experiment with different AI tools and platforms. Also, join a community, like Women in Data, or Women and AI or other AI communities to network, learn from others, and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field. AI is a fast-evolving space, so continuous learning and curiosity are key.
5. How can women in AI support each other?
Building a strong, supportive community is key. Women in AI can support each other by mentoring and sharing experiences to help navigate challenges unique to the industry.
