AI Social Saturday is a program hosted by Women And AI. It’s designed to cultivate a vibrant conversation among women and allies who are interested in artificial intelligence (AI). All levels are welcome!
We had 20 different women host #AISocialSaturday in 2024. We aim to create a space where diverse voices can connect, Social Saturday plays a crucial role in bridging the gender gap in technology and promoting collaboration that leads to innovative solutions.

Has hosted multiple #AISocialSaturdays and it’s always so engaging. Most recently we shared our favorite holiday traditions, the biggest thing we learned in AI in 2024 and what we’re most excited for in AI in 2025. Looking forward agentic AI and generative AI for video creation were big themes.
Tara Thompson💜 AI Learning SpecialistAI Learning Specialist, Bauer Media Group - Academy Tara has hosted more than one discussion for our community. The first one ended with recipe swaps and an after party! She had us sharing how we’s spend 12 hours home alone with no technology, our favorite AI use cases, and where AI most needs women. Hint: it's everywhere!

Melissa Moody & Leslie Greenwood Founders of Wednesday Women
Led a discussion starting with the fact that men were quoted 3.7 times more frequently than women in news about AI. They combat this by causing a ripple of small actions that build into a wave of momentum and inspiration.
The discussion included us each sharing a brand that we’re super into, what we’d pick to easily outsource ANY one task to AI, and who is a voice in AI that we love listening to.

Led an inspiring conversation with AI leaders from across the globe. We all shared what we each found inspiring, how we make sure we’re listening to different voices/perspectives and how we continue to learn/play with AI.
Summer Poletti (rhymes with spaghetti) - Founder and CRO of Rise of Us
Led our spooktacular edition where we shared our ghoulish costumes, discussed recently slayed villains (business challenge solved) using the help of AI, and what feature we’d add to our favorite AI tool! The pets in costume were a highlight from this discussion.
Cassidy Reid Founder of Women in Automation
In this global discussion we shared the biggest impact in automation, an inspiring woman in AI, and one task to automate with AI. Our group virtually unanimously wanted a Rosie the Robot type AI machine to help with household chores.
Jedidah Karanja Growth-Oriented Senior Product Marketing Manager | AI Enthusiast & Strategist | Advisory Board for Community Bots: STEM-Robotics Training for Young Women & Girls Jedidah led more than one #AISocialSaturday. Most recently it was a lively discussion with our community about their Saturday morning rituals, often involving dogs, coffee, and wellness practices. The conversation sparked over 300 comments and transitioned into an exploration of AI tools for creativity, highlighting four key GenAI video tools.Excitement also surrounded the recent unveiling of OpenAI's Sora video generation model, with attendees eager to compare its capabilities with established platforms. AI Leadership Workshop Speakers cohosted an AI Social Saturday event which focused around building confidence in the AI space, personal branding, AI tools, career growth in AI, and balancing technical skills with leadership. Joyce Li shared “The key is taking action. Start experimenting with AI tools, follow hands-on tutorials, build simple applications, and engage with learning communities.
